Product Overview
R1W-920000
R1Wurks proudly steps into the 2WD 1/10 off-road buggy scene with a machine built from the ground up for serious racers. Leveraging years of experience in high-end aftermarket engineering and countless hours on the track, we’re excited to introduce the R1B Mark 1 race buggy kit. This platform reflects several years of focused development, real-world testing, and competitive racing across a variety of surfaces, resulting in a buggy that delivers precision handling, consistent performance, and the unmistakable R1Wurks attention to detail.
The R1B is a 1/10 race buggy kit packed with the latest features and options, giving racers a competitive edge from the moment it hits the track. Every component has been carefully engineered, from injection-molded parts made from high-end DuPont™ composites to precision-machined metals with advanced treatments and premium finishes.
The buggy features race-proven suspension geometry and fully adjustable settings that allow you to fine-tune the setup for a wide range of track conditions. Every detail of the R1B is designed to help racers stay focused on performance and results.
This Dirt version is specifically spec’d for surfaces ranging from high-traction indoor clay to low-traction outdoor dirt.
FEATURE HIGHLIGHTS:
Battery mounting options: This kit is designed to accommodate either the standard transverse battery layout, which offers ten possible position settings, or an inline configuration. With the inline setup, you have the added flexibility of mounting the battery forward with the ESC behind, or at the back with the ESC in front. In addition to these options, there are four extra positions for further fine-tuning of weight placement.
Rear chassis brace options: A key but often overlooked factor in chassis handling is the ability to adjust flex, not just torsional but also longitudinal. With the R1B, we’ve addressed this by extending the chassis side-guard braces to the rear, directing flex toward the middle to improve balance and stability during acceleration and cornering. Additionally, we’ve included an optional 7075 T6 aluminum horseshoe brace that reinforces the area below the gearbox and motor. Some of the mounting screws for this brace can be removed for fine-tuning, or the brace can be removed entirely, which is ideal for low-traction conditions.
We’ve also added the option of a “waterfall” center brace, and both the horseshoe and waterfall braces can be used together if desired. We will soon offer the side-guard and waterfall braces in a variety of material stiffness options, giving even more flexibility to tune chassis flex.
